Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa has twice been awarded ‘Ireland's Leading Spa Resort’. It has elegant bedrooms with balconies offering stunning views of West Cork’s sandy beaches.

The spacious rooms have luxurious furnishings, flat-screen TVs and Nespresso coffee machines. Rooms include bathrooms with bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers.

With panoramic sea views, guests can dine in the award-winning Gulfstream Restaurant, which serves fine French and Mediterranean cuisine, and daily seafood specials. With a warm décor and offering a tasty bar menu, the Dunes Pub & Bistro has a nautical theme.

The Island Spa has fantastic facilities including the Seawater Therapy Pool, which pumps water in from the ocean outside. There is a variety of massages, beauty treatments and body wraps available.

The hotel is located just outside of Clonakilty town, and the Dunmore Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away. Guests can enjoy horse riding, surfing and whale watching in the area.

We had two nights and it was very relaxing with good food.

It was so near to beach & sea. View from restaurant was beautiful. We did have a lot of fog which spoiled it somewhat.

I had stayed some years previous and found the decor very dark. Lovely to see the upgrade.

Visited Inchydonny on our babymoon. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with stunning views. The spa and pool facilities are lovely and the staff go above and beyond

It was magical... we saw

The location was fabulous ... friendly welcome and reception area beautiful Room had a lovely view as did breakfast

The room was cold however that was rectified by a heater being supplied and the showers could do with an upgrade and the bedside tables were awful considering the rest of the room was v good

Worth every penny!

Amazing location, the views are just incredible and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa and pool were brilliant. Food is top notch, but perhaps the portions are just a little too big.

Top class stay, rejuvenating and a place where I thought straight away that I will certainly be back

The friendliness of all the staff was very welcome. We had a room with a balcony and it had everything you would need and more. There is a residents lounge which was warm, cosy and relaxing. Very relaxing atmosphere overall.

The locations was beautiful.

The locations was beautiful.I would have preferred to be on a higher floor, we were on the ground, where the view was limited.

The lighting in the room, was poor, impossible to read, and hard to even put make up on.

The spa could do with refurbishment.

The spa could do with refurbishment. There was rust on the dryers in the ladies changing room and also on the handles of the door in the toilet. The male changing room smelled like a toilet.

Fabulous location, hotel facilities were excellent and the room was incredibly comfortable with extra amazing bed. The little touches in the room are lovely. Breakfast was fab and staff very friendly!

The decor was modern .the bed was comfortable and staff seemed very happy in their job.

I would of liked the bed placed on other side of the room like previous room i stayed there to wake up to the sea views.

Enjoyed the break and the service and quality of food and room cleaning was very good.

Enjoyed the stay and the weater was wonderfull Trish has a body massage and found it great pool was also good, but the beach was fantastic. We had food in the bar and it was good but they could have changed the specials nightly The menu was the same for the 4 nights and if we wers staying longer we would have eaten in town The lounge up stairs was nice but the price difference from the bar was a bit too much Thanks
